Welcome
Our cottage is located at the Sella Pass in the heart of the Dolomite mountains. With a wonderful panoramic view of the Marmolada glacier, the Sella massif and the Sassolungo group, you will find us in the middle of the 3tre ski slope, which leads from Col Rodella to Val di Fassa. The Sella Pass forms together with the Pordoi Pass, the Gardena Pass and the Campolongo Pass the four-pass trip „Sella Ronda" around the Sella Pass, which runs directly past us.
Who we are

We run our restaurant according to this motto: Herbert (James) and Martin.
Together with the helping hands of our family and our team, we strive to make your stay a special experience.
Our kitchen
Our cuisine is mainly based on products from our region, which are prepared with care and passion. In addition, we attach great importance to the freshness and quality of the food.
Our varied menu offers you a selection of light salad plates, delicious soups and our popular pasta dishes of various kinds.
On our menu you will also find various types of dumplings, tasty meat dishes and for a sweet finish homemade pastries. Let us cuddle you with culinary delights.
Our story
In the fifties the Alpe was bought by our grandfather Felix, since then it has been enjoy for cattle breeding and hay harvesting and where our family spends some quiet summer days away from the hustle and bustle.
In 1983 the barn was rebuilt, which in the summer of 1999 our parents Annemarie and Albin turned into a refuge. For a long time we were thinking about a restructuring, the refuge was definitely too small.
In the summer of 2017, we were finally able to realise our vision and restructure the hut in accordance with today's standards. With great enthusiasm we made the refuge what it is today.

Dinner in mountain lodge
You can enjoy a pleasant nocturnal culinary experience in the heart of the Dolomite mountains.
We are open in the evening upon reservation every Wednesday and Saturday.

The meting point is at 7.00 pm at Passo Sella.
An unforgettable journey with our snowcat, which will take you directly to us.
At the table we will offer you an 8-course proposal from which you can choose the desired menu of 3 or 4 dishes.
We will also offer a special menu for children.
The price for a 4-course menu is €83.00 / 3 courses €73.00 – drinks excluded.
The price for the children's menu without drinks is €37.00.
This price also includes round-trip transportation with a heated snowcat or quad.
